Candace Landry

Candace graduated from Red College in Winnipeg with a degree in Business Administration. She began her career at IG Wealth Management in 2005 and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the few female associate consultants in the Winnipeg West Region. In 2009, she earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional (CFP®) designation and became a co-business owner of Chimuk Landry Private Wealth Management in 2013, making her the second female principal owner in the region.

Candace’s contributions have helped her team win multiple awards and join the IG Private Wealth Management (PWM) division. She has been invited to speak on consultant panels and participate in focus groups, including one with the PWM members, and another with the Mid Western Canada PWM women’s focus group, where she shares her business insights. She focuses her volunteer time on mentoring other female entrepreneurs and is an active member of The Women’s Business Resource Group.  This group is committed to fostering a culture of gender balance at IGM Financial, where we attract, hire, develop and retain diverse women employees and field members.  We believe gender balance promotes our ability to be more innovative, and to be industry leaders in wealth and asset management.  Additionally, she co-chaired a major fundraising event for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of MB, raising over $100,000.

An active member of her East Selkirk community, Candace supports her daughters’ schools and sports programs. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in a Ladies Golf League and spending time with family and friends. Candace looks forward to helping you achieve your most important financial goals.
